The secret documents that reveal how US and France scrambled for Africa
Clinton, Gaddafi & gold
Imagine an educator is nominated for Teacher of the Year Award, basking in praise and glory, when a reporter receives and publishes information that the educator has been committing sexual assaults against minors for decades. The normal reaction would be to thank the reporter, arrest the educator and condemn and stigmatize them.
But what if the educator succeeded in making the conversation solely about the reporter ruining their career and robbing them of an important award?
This grotesque and naked form of narrative control is what Democrats successfully orchestrated after Julian Assange published Hillary Clinton’s emails in the run up to the 2016 election.
To this day, five years later, Democrats are still frothing at the mouth with spiteful vengeance at the mere mention of Assange’s name. The reason is, as you’ve probably heard Democrats say countless times, that they think Assange helped Trump in the 2016 election.
For some reason, no one wanted to discuss its content: Her collusion with bankers in order to exploit American workers, her outsourcing schemes and her role in the violent coup in Honduras, among many others. Instead, the question was this:
So because Democrats refuse to talk about the content of the emails, let us do it. And, today, let’s talk about what I think might be the most sinister yet most overlooked document in the entire cache.
In 2011, the entire Western world was angling for a coup in Libya. The man who had haunted them since 1969 by walling of one of the most resource-rich countries in the world from Western profiteering, had to meet his CIA hangman. Muammar Gaddafi’s provocation of the West reached a boiling point when he gathered African countries to discuss an African currency based on Libyan gold. This could potentially crash the dollar and the French franc. On April 2011 Hillary Clinton received a memo titled "France's client/Q's gold" from aide Sidney Blumenthal.
The memo was written by Blumenthal's business partner and CIA operative Tyler Drumheller, a consultant with plans to profiteer in post-war Libya.
Drumheller’s sources were close to France’s political elites, a country heavily invested in the North African region it previously used to colonize.
Both Drumheller and Blumenthal worked with Osprey, a start-up that hoped to profit off medical and military contracts in the chaos after the war. In other words, these were intelligence and State Department operatives who were angling for a war in Libya and profitting from its demise, all at once.
In their analysis of the Libya situation, and particularly France’s helpful role in it, they reported the following to Clinton:
They report that France is cultivating particular clients among rebels. In fact, according to this CIA report, France even funded the rebel groups in Libya. To my readers, this is not surprising at all. But to normies who usually take public narratives at face value, French president Nicholas Sarkozy’s public denial that France was involved in the coup might now seem like a shocking lie.
In fact, this memo understates the extent of French involvement. Another memo sent weeks later by Blumenthal to Clinton openly states that France not only funded and supported the rebel movement, but also created the whole thing from the get go:
Anyways, let’s move on to the most naked and sinister part of the memo. This:
The CIA and French intelligence were closely monitoring the locations of the Libyan gold reservoir, the reservoir, as they note, Gaddafi wanted to use in order to reject Western currencies. And then, the conclusive mask off moment:
Despite all the Western interventionist cries about “human rights”, behind closed doors, when they think no one is listening, they discuss coups and assassinations in order to access oil, influence and capital. We all know about the phrase “The Scramble for Africa” and think of it as some ancient linguistic artifact of history, but after the coup in 2011, this was the reality in Northern Africa:
A joyous Hillary Clinton could now assure her circle of oil sharks and bankers that they had a new client in town. She defied Congressional opposition and lead America into a war alongside president Barack Obama.
This footage of her borrowing the Roman slogan “Veni, Vidi Vici” (“We came, we saw, we conquered”) but altering it to “We came, we saw, he died”, in reference to Gaddafi, went viral at the time.
With a wink and a smile, she sarcastically dismissed the claims that she had anything to do with it. Then the following second, with the same joking tone, suggesting she might have been involved after all. Clinton was not aware that this moment was caught on tape:
This is the ease and flippant amusement with which Western leaders like Clinton destroy the Global South.
Without Wikileaks, we would know a whole lot less about Clinton’s backroom dealings and the extent of her crimes against humanity. Democrats on the other hand, think Assange should rot in prison for letting us know.
